VRC: Cards & Dealing System
Need some cards to play some card games? This is what you need for your world!
These are the cards used in the Misfits' Drinking Hall world, so you can go there to test them out.
These cards are custom made, with multiple different skins provided, and the substance painter file for if you want to make your own skin too.
Check the preview images to see the provided skins. Also if you have a simple card skin you'd like added you can message me on discord and I can probably make it for you.
The UI provides buttons to deal multiple different games out onto a table.
- Shitty (4 random cards per hand)
- Full circle (all cards dealt out into one big circle)
- Horse Race (all 4 aces lined up, and a row of face down cards perpendicular to it)
- Rest (Places all cards back into the center, shuffled)
The cards are shuffled when dealing any of the options.
Setup instructions:
- Install the latest version of the VRC World SDK and U# through the VRC Creator companion if you dont already have them.
- Import the cards game package into your project
- Drag and drop the card game prefab into your scene
- Create a new layer by clicking the layer dropdown and going Add Layer...
Then in one of the empty rows put 'Cards' - Go Edit > Project Settings
Go to the physics tab
Uncheck every box under the cards row besides default and Walkthrough
- Now place the cards object where you want the deck to spawn, at the center of your table
- Set the table to the Wallkthrough layer so that the cards can collide with it, but the players can walk through it.
